Location: North-east rim of the summit crater, Poás volcano, Costa Rica Installation Date: November 2023 (AVERT project) Instrumentation:

Data Collection:
  • Position data recorded at two rates: 30 s (standard) and 1 s (high rate)
  • High-rate data only telemetered during events of specific interest to minimize bandwidth consumption

  • Helps identify whether there is observable deformation at Poás
  • Located on crater rim to monitor potential deformation signals
